Overview Australian Research Council FUTURE FELLOWSHIPS CALL FOR PROPOSALS The Australian Research Council (ARC) is seeking proposals from outstanding national and international mid-career researchers, across all research disciplines. The Future Fellowships scheme aims to attract and retain the world’s best and brightest mid-career researchers from Australia and overseas, who can build collaboration across institutions, industry and/ or disciplines and increase Australian’s research capacity. Value of this fellowship In 2010, the ARC will award up to 200 four-year fellowships at three salary levels: AUD$98,935, AUD$119,764 and AUD$140,592 (excluding additional on-costs of 28%). Future Fellowships must be held at an Australian higher education institution, or an eligible Australian research organisation, medical research organisation, museum or herbaria. Proposals from national and international researchers working in areas of national priority are encouraged. Proposals close on 21 April 2010.
